2023 FALL-WINTER TERRACOTTA WEDDING COLOR MOOD BOARDS FOR A BOHO RUSTIC NATURE-INSPIRED WEDDING

Terracotta is a very trendy color to plan a 2023 wedding. According to google trends, there is an increase of 60% in searches for terracotta dresses for weddings and a 40 % increase in searches for terracotta weddings on Etsy. Pinterest trends show a substantial increase in terms as wedding party, table décor setting, and not to mention the boho terracotta style that is breaking out popular searches for this upcoming year.

Here I created three terracotta wedding color palettes with a modern boho style. They are inspired by nature with a little dash of vintage.

A mood board is the first step to start designing the wedding. Mood boards collect information about the bride and groom, their personalities, dreams, wedding expectations, favorite colors, and more.

A mood board should not be boring and stick to one wedding style.

You can always choose a main style and integrate different styles within the design.

Trendy or modern can always be incorporated into traditional weddings. A mood board is made up of a wedding color palette and styles. It is an easy way to check textures and other elements of design that we would like to incorporate on the wedding day.

The first palette of color is made of :

terracotta, burgundy, rose gold, and cream

What I love about this invitation is the foil letters on matte paper. We see two elements of decoration that make it stand. They are the tassel and the wax seal stamp.

I love the contrast between the matte and the glitter paper. It gives an exquisite finish.

In this wedding table setting, we can see a modern boho decor design with rustic and vintage elements that make our table setting a little moody and warm—specially designed for a warm fall or cold winter wedding.

Pop of fall colors inspired by the fallen leaves of autumn. Terracotta wedding dresses are very trendy for wedding rehearsals or wedding parties. Tapper candles provide a romantic, moody style.

When real nature is not allowed in the venues, these petals are the perfect alternative to natural flower petals. You can scatter them around table centerpieces, and they are perfect for filling the flower girl baskets.

The second mood board is made of terracotta, gold, blush pink, and ivory or cream colors. This is a beautiful palette for a boho nature-inspired wedding. This palette is perfect for a barn wedding and western or country style.

What I love about the combination of gold in this palette is that it is not only perfect for a fall wedding but also for a winter wedding too.

I love how small centerpieces can accompany the candles and rose petals. Working with small centerpieces gives you even more freedom to incorporate special things or decor elements in your wedding decor design.

Fall rose petals that can be used inside the bridesmaid proposal boxes. Spray a little fragrance on them, and you will make your bridesmaid's day.

The last palette of colors is made of terracotta, taupe, blush pink, and ivory. Despite the other ones, I visualize using this palette of color on a beach or coastal wedding. Although it is inspired by the bohemian hippie bride, you can use this palette for all the seasons of the year as long as you are married on the beach.

Perfect palette for a destination wedding!

Take advantage of nature and add a pop of color to your wedding scheme. This wedding mood board goes perfectly for a budget wedding. It will still look elegant, free, and expensive. Your guests will remember it forever.

The star of this mood board is the bride. A spectacular wedding bouquet and a lot of crystals and stones for the bride are all you need.

The perfect option for a venue with restrictions on natural flowers and wedding confetti. A real touch of a garden for your wedding.

Bride!Let me know if you find these palettes of colors helpful. Are you planning a terracotta wedding?

Take care♥
